The parents should be watching them and making sure they don't bother other guests. You have to understand that this place IS open for kids, so you have to expect kids and kids are always going to behave like kids. I saw other reviews complaining about kids. I could see the crowd starting to gather later in the day, so I would suggest, if possible, stay away from weekends/holidays. And definitely had enough spots in whichever pool my friend and I decided to try out and we were able to get two spots always side by side. The place was semi-busy.There were occasional empty chairs here and there outside.
We arrived around 2:15pm and stayed until 6pm. My friend and I went on a Friday afternoon with a Groupon deal. Both spas are far from public transportation, but often occasional and not-guaranteed shuttles. In sum with the exception of the scrub-massage I liked King Spa more - but if you are going specifically for a Korean scrub-massage go to Queens. You can usually get a King Spa groupon, and occasionally get a Spa Castle groupon. I liked the Spa Castle scrub-massage much more. King Spa has only a half hour combined scrub and massage. Spa Castle offers a half hour scrub and an hour scrub and massage. Both nude areas have good dry saunas and steam rooms. The nude area at King Spa has more lounges for relaxing. The nude area in Spa Castle has a larger selection of pools at different temperatures. The bulgogi and ramen at King Spa are far better than that at Spa Castle. At Spa Castle I only got a little dish of rather unimpressive kimchi. The restaurant at King Spa serves most dishes with a large selection of Korean small plates.
King Spa has a larger selection of clothed saunas, and a much better restaurant (also slightly less expensive). Both offer sex-segregated nude sauna-hot tube-shower bod-scrub areas, clothed Korean saunas, restaurants and relaxing areas. New York has two immense Korean-style spas - Spa Castle in College Point, Queens, and King Spa in Palisades Park New Jersey.
